This air bearing gantry with housing was designed for surface measurement purposes. Highest repeatability in Z was the goal. Gantry stages and traverse are moving on air bearings and are actuated by ironless linear motors. For height adjustment a PMT160 is used. Travel is 600 x 600 x 100 mm.

High precision linear stage with a width of 160 mm. Driven by ball screw and DC motor.

PMT160-SM

High precision linear stage with 160 mm width. Driven by ball screw and stepper motor.
